Ottawa Historical and Scouting Heritage Museum
We opened our doors on December 7, 1995 as the Ottawa Scouting Museum. Dedicated to the preservation of the history of the Ottawa, Illinois area and Boy Scouting, Lone Scouts, Girl Scouting and Camp Fire. In January, 2012, we broadened our scope to include local history as well as scouting heritage. Our current scouting exhibits are being updated and we have a wing now devoted to local history.
